On Tuesday morning we took the short flight to Auckland to visit the Albany campus for a repeat of the presentation to 12 attendees. The campus has some leading-edge spaces and the feel of the campus was very different to the Palmerston North campus. These learning pods are an example of the spaces at the Albany campus.

Had a big chuckle after reading this recalling a certain NZ computer education conference and wagers with Mark Brown over the Bledisloe Cup. It was interesting doing my Sunday morning keynote facing an audience of disgruntled, hungover kiwis after Australia won the match. That little wallaby on every slide was subtle I thought.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory.

Thanks Lindy. Managed to see a number of matches in the last world cup including the two semi-finals with Mark Brown. The All Blacks totally deserved the win in 2011.
